Well another time I will tell you I'm sorry. I have had lots of problems with my new companion this week and today. It's the disobedience and he doesn't like that I'm strict.
We have cleaned up a lot of the house. The bathroom is not cleanable. What goes in mostly comes out of the bottom of the toilet. We also had no cleaning supplies for the house, so I had to buy everything. My area has everything from really rich to really poor. Its an interesting area. Ive been gaining trust from all the members we have visited. My area also is HUGE compared to my last areas.
We also had a baptism this week. His name is Julio. A few miracles happened this week so that would happen.
I'm doing my absolute best to try to help this area for the better in the future. That includes area book, house clean, member trust, obedience, and using time wisely. I will make this ward a better place
before I leave. I am very determined to do it. President Wagner told me that my experience will really help the ward that I'm serving in. He trusts in me with that and to help my companion that has been saying he is going to go home. Honestly there are lots of challenges here, but I know this is where I should be and I can help the Lord so much within these last 6 months of my mission.
Do good, stay strong, and know that I love you!

I got transferred
Well
I got transferred.... It’s not the greatest news in the world but it must mean that I need to be in my new area which is called Tesistan 2. I will be district leader. Knowing my companion for about 3 hours I’ve learned that he is humble and disobedient. I will be fixing that up these next few weeks. Also, I arrived to the house and it was a disaster. That too we will be fixing up in the next couple weeks. I also had a really sad morning and last night. It was so hard saying bye all the people I love in Arquitectura. I’m pretty sure this will be my last area and I’ll be “dying” here in missionary terms. Anyway, there was a very small amount of time today to write because of the changes.
I love you all. Do good, stay strong and endure to the end.

I think I will be leaving to my LAST area
I’m doing pretty well but I’m a
little worried too. There are transfers next week and I think I will be leaving to my last area. That is my opinion of course. It might
happen or it might not. I have 6 months left. Enough time to be able to have
another area.
There isn’t much to respond to from the last weeks letter so this is a bit more difficult....
I think I will be receiving a letter for suggestions on when I would leave, what time, etc, soon. What is it that you want for me to put. Honestly, I would like to visit all the places with you but I prefer to be relieved of the calling first. I also would like to go in May if it is possible. Jorge and Erendira and their family would be sealed in that month and I want to be there for their sealing if possible. I actually prefer that than visit places in December while not being relieved.
Nothing interesting happened this week. It was actually a pretty terrible week. We’ve dropped all of our investigators and now we are on the search for them.
I love you.

The new announcement
How is
everything going??? Things are going pretty well here. We have been visiting a
lot of less actives these past couple of weeks. We do need prayers for the
investigators. That is a challenge that we are facing.
The conference was pretty awesome. That is
really going to help the stake and ward here in Guadalajara. I really enjoyed
everything from the songs to announcements to the little videos. I felt the
Spirit really strongly. I know that the Apostles and President Thomas S Monson
are prophets called of God. We are preparing to send the gospel to the entire
world. The new announcement of computers and Internet was super shocking. I don’t
know when it will take effect in this mission but it will be super helpful to
missionaries. If Satan is going to use the internet, then the Lord will need to
use the internet for his plan of Salvation. We have reached a digital age and
it will be exciting. I don’t even think I will be in the mission when it
finally reaches to Mexico but I believe this was definitely inspired.
I’m curious about your thoughts now on
missionary work with Gail and Clay now after that conference. Have you thought
about it??
What are your plans as a family to help
hasten the work of the Lord??? I want to hear your answer in the next weeks
letter. Come up with goals and work together to be able to achieve them.
Thank you for your support and love. It
really does help.
Remember to stay strong, do good, and help
the Lord to hasten his work (it’s a commandment.) I love you!
ps. It’s
starting to rain now because the raining season has come.

We went to Estadio Jalisco
Thank you so much for the package. I was
super excited to get it. It had exactly what I needed. It certainly is going to
help me. The week went pretty well. We reached the standard of excellence in a
few areas this week. We found 7 new investigators. I hope that they will
progress. Could you please pray for us to have progressing investigators?
Today we went to the Estadio Jalisco,
where the soccer teams play such as Atlas and Chivas. It was pretty
interesting. Its huge! ( The place is so huge that he had to use the panorama feature on his camera to get it.) I hope you enjoy those pictures that I sent you.
Movie projector??? You spoiled boys!
hahaha :) That’s pretty neat. It will be super weird to return home with
everything different, from family members to home changes.
Thank you for your testimony Mom. I can
tell that you have come to know Christ and his Atonement since I have left.
Continue to learn about Him and what he has done, because in reality without
him there would be no hope and nothing to look forward too. Now think about all
the people in the world that don’t have that hope and think that they don’t
have a purpose in life. For that exact reason, all of the members of the church
should join together and build the kingdom of God. The second coming is close.
Let us prepare for his coming and listen to the modern day prophets. Take
advantage of this conference next Sunday. It will be historical in the rising
up of the church of Christ. Find people for the missionaries to teach
now. The time is short and we must help the Lord in hastening his Marvelous
Work.
Do good, stay strong, and help build the
kingdom of God through magnifying your callings and doing missionary work. I
love you.

I'm going to work super hard these last 6 months
How is everyone? My companion is doing
well. He is a quiet guy and I don’t think that is going to change until he is a
trainer. But it’s fine, it makes me a more talkative person which really helps
my Spanish. It really can be a kick in the behind sometimes but it does help.
I’m sure it’s quite exciting that school
is out. Enjoy your vacation when you have it. Some people don’t have vacations
(cough cough Missionaries). Its fine! I’m going to work super hard these last 6
months. They are going to fly by so fast. Then I will have my one week
vacation. hahaha
That was so good of you mom for taking
those pictures of Drew.
Keep it up with Gail and Clay! Like I
said....I want them to be members before I get home. You’ve got 6 months. :)
This week we found some good new
investigators. We just need investigators to go to church. Please pray that
Elizabeth, Agustin, Rafael, and Maria del Carmen will be able to go to church
this Sunday.
This week I have a capacitation for
leaders tomorrow. I’m pretty excited to be able to go to it.
I’m not quite sure when I’ll get the
package but it is possible that I receive it tomorrow. I’ll make sure to let
you know.
We also had another spiritual experience
with Elizabeth and Agustin. They received their answer to their prayers in the
moment and they know that the Book of Mormon is true. Amazing how that works!
I love you all and hope that everything
goes well. Do good, stay strong and trust in God.

We had a baptism
We had a good week. We did have the baptism this week. It went very well. She was super excited. She had a spiritual experience and she even bore her testimony on Sunday.
How did your week go? Did Memorial day go well?
Don't worry. I'm living, I just don't have much time to write today. I'm super sorry, but I do hope you enjoy the pictures of Rosario's baptism.
I love you!
(They also had a zone conference. I saw on his mission president's wife's blog.)
