Almost reached the standard of excellence

How are all of you doing? I'm doing all right. I'm a bit sick but we almost reached the standard of excellence last week. We had all the lessons required and new investigators required. We also had a baptism and the baptismal dates required. The only thing we missed was 2 investigators in church. We had three... SSOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE! Well maybe next month.

Wow! I can't believe I could possibly be going home on the 16th! That was a surprise.

That is terrible that my talk is going to be at the same time as Wes´s talk...There is nothing that we can do to be able to work it out??has my number!? That is weird... haha

Also, for this next week I NEED the 3 favorite colors of each person in the family. PLEASE :)

Now I would like to go to the temple even more when I go home.

Anyway, thank you so much for the support and sacrifice to be able to write me. I'm very grateful for the family I have :)

Independence Day in Mexico

How are you all doing? Just to let you know... I love you all and am so very very very grateful for you guys.

This week we expect to baptize and we expect to reach the standard of excellence. Please keep us in your prayers so that we can accomplish with all of our goals.

We also had a zone activity today so I cant write too much. It is

Spanish TO English dictionary

How are all of you doing? Things here are going well. We had a good
week and worked like crazy. We are trying to reach our goals of a new
ward and new companionship. President Wagner told me that this ward is
in the top five areas to be able to receive a two other missionaries
now. That's exciting, but now it just needs to get done.

We found 10 new investigators this week and had a pretty good
attendance in church on Sunday.

Wow! I cant believe that A is going to be leaving now. Wish him
good luck for me. Also I would like to have a way to communicate with
A. That would be nice.

I can't explain how different it is going to be not speaking Spanish
soon. I sure hope y'all are learning your EspaƱol so that I can
communicate with you. If not I'm going to have to suffer the other way
around for about a month. Except that it will be suffering by not
knowing English. I actually have a Spanish to English dictionary with
me know so that I can explain my self. Yup! Its interesting all right.
hahahaha jk but really it is cool.

Well the Spirit is super strong here. We follow the Spirit sometimes
without realizing it and then we recognize afterwards. One example, we
were going to visit a less active and I decided to go in a different
direction. Well we found the less active on the way and he was on a
street that we never really take.

Well, I love you guys. Stay strong, do good and listen to the Spirit!

Attention siblings

My companion Elder Buelna sends you all greetings! How are all of you doing? Thank you for the random news. Random news is always good to get. This past week it went really well.

We had an awesome church attendance this Sunday. We also have a baptism set up for Sept 14th. We are excited. I expect to have this ward split up before I go back home and/or another companionship in the ward.

This week we followed the Spirit a lot. Lots of the time we follow the Spirit without knowing. We find out after we had been guided to a place. It is pretty awesome being an instrument in the Lords hands. There are so many miracles everyday.

Thank you for letting me be here.

It is September now.... I am going to work it here. Satanas ain't got nothin on me!

Attention Siblings- The mission... it's not just good, it's grrrrrrreat! Prepare to serve a mission.

I hope everything goes well and that y'all can enjoy your week!

I love you!

Follow the Spirit

How is everything going? I hope everything is going all right.

This week has definitely been a better week for me and the area. We are both excited and healing the wounds done to the area and ward and house of Elder Ramirez. We are gaining member trust now. Even the members see the unity in the companionship.

What do I want to study for college....??? I have no idea.... Honestly I don't have a clue. I've thought possibly an optometrist. But I really have no idea.

How are the missionary experiences going?

I really don't know what to write now. I really just prefer to talk when I get home...

Umm....

We have zone conference this week.

We have lots of appointments set up this week. Please pray that they won't fall through.

I'm sorry I'm a terrible writer... Really I just get super bored while writing and having to translate from Spanish to English in my mind. It really is difficult to think in English... Well there is the gift of tongues for you.

Adriana' sister came to my ward yesterday. She is the mother of the missionary that you supported. She shared a lot of gratitude. Her son also shared a lot of gratitude. They want to thank you so much. She wants to get her visa so that she can go up their herself and express her love and gratitude to you. I saw so much love in her heart. She actually pulled me aside with my companion and her son after sacrament meeting and expressed that to me. The Lord will bless you for your service and love.

I'm going to look for a good story this week to be able to write you.

I love you family. Do good, stay strong and follow the Spirit.

Elder Buelna!!!!!

Today there were transfers. My companion Elder Ramirez went to Colima.  My new companion issssssssssss...................... ELDER BUELNA!!!!!  YAYAYAYAYAYAYAAAYYYYYYY He is from Sonora, Mexico. I have known him from my Independencia Zone. He was in my zone and was the companion of one of my district leaders when I was zone leader. He is a good Elder and I'm super excited to be working with him. This truly was a miracle and I am very grateful. Heavenly Father answered our prayers. We will be working as a district to where we can create another ward or get
another companionship of missionaries in this ward. The area of the ward is huge. Yeah I'm excited! I've been with a "dead" missionary for 6 weeks and now I'm ready to get working again with excitement!

Thank you for your prayers. :)

That's pretty exciting with the family Espinoza. How has it gone with them recently?

I guess I was inspired while writing my letter a couple weeks ago.

Please pray that Luis our investigator and Javier Delgadillo our less active will stop drinking. Pray that they wont even have the desire to drink please.

Have you talked with anyone for my departure date?

Short amount today and as normal but just know that I'm pretty happy right now. I'll let you all know how my week goes.

I love you! Do good, stay strong and keep praying!

St. Loveland 1:5-6

How is everyone? I hope everything is going well! Time has flown by. Soon I will be home opening presents with all of you, sharing mission experiences, and speaking Spanish to you. (note that put "to you" instead of "with you") jajaja. Who knows... maybe you all can learn in the next few months. I expect you all to at least learn to where you will be able to understand the jest of what I'm speaking of.

Well just to start my Christmas list.... Avengers, Iron Man 3,
Wolverine Immortal, Man of Steel(Superman), The Amazing Spiderman, the Xmen movies, Lord of the Rings movies,iTunes cards for Spanish music, any other Superhero movies that have come out, and....... a laptop. :) That would make this allergic to the sun son very happy. :)

Man! The Book of Mormon is true, especially the promise of Moroni! Once again this week, another woman has received her answer in the moment of praying. I lost count of how many times that has happened since coming to Mexico. She received it strongly and now wants to marry her boyfriend, be baptized, and get sealed in the temple. The thing that stinks is that she and her husband already moved to another part of the valley of Guadalajara. I hope things go well with them.

Man, I would just love to see all the fruits of my labor during these 2 years every 5 years of my life. I'm excited to find out in the coming life. :) Missionary work just brings so much joy!!! Please share the gospel with people now rather than later. You will get the joy and peace that you need in your lives. If you want to be more happy and more at peace, then SHARE THE GOSPEL! Learn to love everyone and recognize everyone as a child of God who loves them no more than he loves you. Those people on the streets are your brothers and sisters. Help them find their way home.

"Verily, Verily I say unto ye, if ye bring Gail and Clay to the waters of Baptism, then shall ye have a fullness of joy in
Paradise.
But wo, wo unto him that shareth not the love of Christ, for he shall not receive the blessings promised of the Lord"
St. Loveland 1:5-6

Please know that Heavenly Father loves you and remember to love one another as Jesus loves you. Try to show kindness in all that you do. Be loving and gentle in deed and in thought, for these are the things Jesus taught. I love you.
